Run in with amish food

So i have been trying to understand how amish people and those like them eat so much white flour for many years.  It is quite pleasant in a way...though difficult to understand i have discovered.

I read about two types of spreads they make to spread on bread.  One being peanut butter and corn syrup...the other being velveta melted with milk.

I just tried the peanut butter spread.  It was quite good and a great protein snack.

I also had a bottle of whiskey with milk and pickle juice.  It was a little overboard due to the milk...but i would do the whole thing again.
