idli?

my dosa didnt work because the batter was too thick an i used a different kind on lentil. i think in the future for dosa to work for me...i would need to really oil the pan...perhaps use different lentil...and thinner batter. i think it may be in the pan though. i read dont use same pan for roti and dosa. now since i dont have an idli pan i will just bake some of this batter in a cake pan until i can upgrade my process. my two layer fruitcake is soaking up some xtra rum...looks good. i also made a peanut cake with marshmallows...not very sweet but a graham cracker crust on the bottom helps out. probably go back to box cake after this.
